Sunbeam FoodS Advantages

CACFP Food Program Trained

We stay educated on all the latest rules and regulations of the USDA Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) that provides reimbursements for creditable foods necessary to serve nutritious meals and snacks to eligible children and adults enrolled in participating centers.

Child Nutrition (CN) Labeled Products

We stock a large selection of Child Nutrition (CN) labeled products that provide the meal pattern contribution information for main-dish entrees that contribute to the meat/meat alternate component of the meal. CN Labels are required in the CACFP Food Program to receive reimbursements.

Whole Grain-rich Items

We keep a large inventory of Whole Grain-rich (WGR) items which means at least half the grains in the food are whole grain and the remaining grain ingredients are enriched, bran, or germ. In the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP), at least one offering of grains per day must be whole grain-rich.

Menu Planning Assistance

Our Account Executives are trained to assist our customers in their menu planning process with food suggestions for delicious, kid-friendly meals using a wide variety of nutritious fresh, frozen and dry goods to help them decide on their best options.

Customized Order Guides

Personalized order guides are included as a service to our valued customers based upon their purchasing history, current menus, and specific product requests. These order guides are revised and updated periodically as needed while providing speed and accuracy when placing orders.

Sunbeam Foods proudly delivers your foods and products right to your door FREE of charge and does NOT require any minimum case quantities or dollar amounts. **

**Otis Spunkmeyer orders must be at least 2 cases to be eligible for free delivery.
